F.A.Q.
Q: What is different about Deep Roots Tattoo from other tattoo shops?
A: Here at Deep Roots we take our clients comfort and safety first. Each artist has his/her own private room to ensure privacy and comfort. All our artists are up to date on their Bloodbourne pathogens training and utilize the most advanced sterilization process available.
Q: Is it safe?
A: At Deep Roots we take our clients health and safety extremely serious. No needles are ever re-used. All instruments used during the procedure are properly sterilized in our in house autoclave and statim sterilizers that are spore tested bi-weekly. Along with years of training, yes we are safe.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: Cash, Visa, Mastercard
Q: Hold old do you have to be to get a tattoo?
A: 18. Regardless of parent consent. It is state law!
Q: How old do you have to be to get pierced?
A: You must be 18 to come in on your own to receive a piercing. However, we do pierce minors 16 and older with parental consent (matching names on ID card, birth certificate, passport, etc.) and ID. We will not perform any oral, nipple, or genital piercings on any minor.
Q: Can I bring in my own jewelry to get pierced at Deep Roots?
A: You can bring in your own jewelry (in a bag, please!) to have us look at it to see if it is acceptable to reuse in a fresh piercing. We only use internally threaded jewelry at our studio.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Yes, but not nearly as much as you think it will. All our artists are trained to help relax you during your procedure. The worst part is waiting for it and not knowing what it will feel like.
Q: Can I get a tattoo or piercing while I am pregnant?
A: No. Ask your doctor!
